A new Rasmussen Reports poll finds that more than three-quarters of likely U.S. voters
(77%) say requiring a photo ID to vote is a reasonable way to protect the integrity of elections. Just 17 percent think such measures are unreasonable. The latest numbers are up from 74 percent support in 2021, according to the pollster. The survey of 1,229 respondents, conducted Jan.26-28, also found 60 percent believe voter ID laws do not “discriminate against some voters,” with 30 percent saying they do.
