House Republicans were never going to vote for Senate Democrats’ border security bill after
they read what was in it, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) says – and he’s got a list of 10 reasons why it’s “a trash deal.” Rep. Donalds provided his list of “Why the Senate Border Deal FAILED” in a social media post on Monday, citing 10 onerous provisions of the Democrats’ bill: 1–Codify Catch/Release; 2–Let in 1.8M Illegals; 3–Fund Sanctuary Cities; 4–Fund NGOs Moving Illegals; 5–Lawyers to Illegals; 6–Work Permits to Illegals; 7–Nothing to Deport Illegals; 8–No Immediate Wall Funds; 9–Weak Asylum Screening and 10–$60B to Ukraine.
