Rep. Hakeem Jeffries Attacks Trump Agenda by Threatening ‘to Fight It in the Streets’

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) stoked fears of violence Friday, when he said

Democrats opposed to Make America Great Again (MAGA) initiatives are going to take the fight into “the streets.” Rep. Jeffries unleashed the threatening rhetoric while speaking at a press even, where he was condemning potential tax cuts he attributed to the “MAGA Republican agenda”. The White House subsequently posted a statement asking if Jeffries will apologize to the American people for his “sick call for violence.”
