Trump’s former attorney and constitutional legal scholar, John Eastman, who is undergoing
lawfare as a result of his representation of Trump in the 2020 election challenges, is facing multiple legal proceedings but is in good spirits. Eastman, widely considered one of the top legal scholars on the right, served as dean for Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, told The Arizona Sun Times during an interview that he remains “cheerful but defiant.”
