Republican Donald Trump said that Vice President Kamala Harris has made a mess of
California and will “turn America into a poor, violent, third-world refugee camp.” Speaking at a news conference at his golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, Mr. Trump said Ms. Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, is soft on crime and weak on immigration. “We cannot allow Comrade Kamala Harris and the communist left to do to America what they did to California,” Mr. Trump said. “The state of California is a mess.”
